teaching prohibition
« on: November 26, 2014, 11:21:50 AM »
Hey does anyone have any ideas for the topic of prohibition? My students are very low level so I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas. The key phrases are "you're not allowed to" "you musn't" and "you shouldn't". I'm a bit stumped so if you guys have any ideas, please let me know. I would appreciate it :)

Well there is a lot of information on the topic of prohibition when related to the topic of alcohol in the U.S in the 1930 (I beleive). I taught a class about it to 10th grade history students in Canada. If they are high school students they might enjoy it if you can simplifiy it enough. It is really interesting history and quite the contrast to alcohol overload  in Korea. Not sure if this is any help. Good luck!
