I saw someone say that they were using this in 6th grade. Can your students actually answer these? Just curious. ^^;

Hi, I clicked on the link and I see 94 items (videos and sound files). Should I just click each one or copy and paste to a folder?

Sorry for newbish post.

https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2423534?hl=en
Open Drive at drive.google.com.
Click the file you'd like to download. To select multiple files, hold down Shift or Ctrl (Command on a Mac) while clicking on multiple files.
Right click and choose Download.

Alternate instructions for the old Drive:
Open Drive at drive.google.com.
Click the checkbox next to the file you'd like to download.
At the top of the page, click More > Download.
Select a file format for each item, such as Microsoft Word. If you select multiple items, they'll be compressed into a .zip file.
Click Download.
When I click one file, it comes full screen and I can only download that one file....I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what.

Thanks anyway.

Me too

The easiest way to download all the files at once is to first add it to your own google drive. Then you can right click on the folder that's created and select "download". It will zip all the files into one, which you can then save wherever you like and unzip as needed.

Unfortunately, Google drive has a file size limit that if exceeded won't be allowed to be downloaded or zipped. 24 of the 90+ files in this case. I'd love to use this material. OP is it possible to condense the files and share the zip files on waygook?

I took a bunch of the new songs here and ideas (thank you!!) and put it into the "Old School Kpop" template to update it which can be found here: http://www.waygook.org/index.php/topic,76593.0.html

You can download the other files from the aforementioned thread and throw this ppt and four song in it too. Take it from my google drive and put into the same folder.

Started putting it into a zip file at 9 this morning, it is now 1 PM and still at 52% so hopefully it finishes today. I have never had much success putting zip files up on waygook from my work computer (hence the reason I use google drive) but I will try to figure out a solution!  Is everyone having the same problem or is it working for some people?

Many thanks Whitleybug for taking the time to condense the files. Really, really appreciate the extra effort. I'm also curious if others have noticed trouble downloading large sized files from google drive.

Does anybody else have the full game downloaded that can try to upload the zip file? I have tried several times now (takes about 7 hours each time) and all that happens is the file hits 99% uploaded and then the screen refreshes to a completely blank "post reply" page.  I've also tried to upload the zip file to google drive and after a day and a half it is at only about 7% uploaded.

Anyone with a faster computer that has the game, please be a dear and upload it! Thank you!!

Thank you so much for all the effort you put into making this game! It was a hit with my students!

I used this game with my 6's (mid/low level). For the last class of the semester their teachers wanted me to combine two classes into one, so I had about 40 students. Did boys vs girls. They had to ring a bell in the front before they can give me the answer. I figured some of these might be hard, so I asked the teachers to allow the students to use their phones (either to look up the lyrics or listen to the song if they have it on there). That worked very well. Got the boys who would always zone out in my classes engaged.

Thanks again!

I'm equally sorry as I've just seen your post!

If you haven't already uploaded the second version, Yes, I'm interested and I'd love to use it!
As for making my own, I would love to ask you some additional questions but haven't posted here enough to send private messages, Oh the shame -.-,. I also saw that you uploaded your deluxe version so I will play around with that template just to get started.

Thanks again!^^*

This is an awesome game. Great job! There are a couple situations where the audio file doesn't match the written lyrics. But whatever... I make the kids do it anyway and my HIGH SCHOOL students nail almost every one. A couple of the bonus options reset the board but again, whatever... Nothing I can't roll with.

Thanks for the amazing idea and hard work. Much appreciated!

Update: Tried the 2015 version. Works well. Songs match written lyrics. Only 1 bonus question resets the whole game board. Much more user friendly.

I didn't realize there was a 2015 version when I downloaded the 2014 one a few months back. Just downloading the files gave me a headache. I have forgotten how long it takes to find a song kids like, look for the English part, splice up the video and then put everything together on a powerpoint.

I grew tired of making these myself and quit making them a couple of years back; I'm glad that others have stepped up and made something for all teachers and kids to enjoy. I hope somebody else will step up to the plate and create something just as awesome once whitleybug decides to retire.

Hi, KpopSlam Legend :D I am Korean English teacher. Thanks to your huge efforts, I have been able to spend fun time with my students. So, I made 2014 and 2015 version by using your templates. Sorry for revising them not letting you know in advance. But I would like to send you my version and share kind of my vibe or perspective on K-pop. If you ever interested, please send me an reply to ppmailcom@naver.com  thanks.

For anyone still using this game, I'm attaching a cheat sheet you can use to mark your progress or when you run into any problems. One page has the game board, and the other has the answers to all questions, indicates which questions have bonuses, and what those bonus questions and answers are. It's everything you need in case you run into any problems. I'm going to print it out and slip into one of those clear dividers (or whatever they're called) so I can reuse it.
