cute Christmas cards

My elementary students (3rd and 4th grade) really liked making Christmas cards with these patterns.

i love the christmas cards.  i'm a bit of a crafts newbie though, so i'm not sure about how they are made.  especially... how do they glue that shaded part on the face?  thanks a lot.

You can either fold it over along the crease or cut along the one line and fold the other behind it (and then either tape or glue it to stay).
