Hello, I have an extra class with grade 1-3 and I am teaching them Fruits and Vegetables. I am having trouble finding a good fruits and veggies song that I think that they would enjoy. Does anyone have any links or videos they could share?? Thanks!

I loved this song when I was a kid.
This one doesn't have the words, but maybe you can find one that does.

http://www.dltk-teach.com/books/hungrycaterpillar/sequencing.htm
This website has a couple of things for the very hungry caterpillar. I chose the story sequencing game but instead of the game, I drew a large caterpillar out and made copies. Then each child watched the story, cut and colored the food pictures, and put them on the body of the caterpillar in order of which they happened. Then for the ones that show the caterpillar body, we glued them in order as well. Also here are some writing practice sheets and cut and color sheets. For cut and color, the students color the pictures, cut them out and match them with the correct name. and glue that on to the main page. There is also a foods powerpoint. Something is a bit off with the formating but you should be able to take the pics and stuff and make your own or just modify what's here. Good luck!

Mr. Wiggles - Fruit Salad
I showed my Kindergarten class this and they loved it! I'm sure it can work for other young learners as well.
I played the song then showed them a basic PPT of some key vocabulary.
They were really into it, rubbing their bellies singing 'Fruit salad. Yummy, yummy.'

Fruits Lesson

Here are a variety of my materials for my fruit lesson that took a couple classes to finish.
- Used Fruit Color by Number WS to introduce the lesson.
- Fruit .ppt to practice fruit names and elicit spelling.
- Fruit Basketball Board Race: Printed the cards and taped them on the board. I said the fruit and the first student to grab the right fruit had to spell it. If they spelled correctly, they got to throw a basketball into the hoop (2 tries). If spelled wrong, only got 1 try.
- Played a "Circle of Chairs" Fruit game (printed same cards from Basketball Board Race)
- Fruit wordsearch
- Fruit Omok (used it to practice conversation in partners)
- Fruit Race Car Game

Since no one had posted a Pass the Ball Fruit game I took the liberty of making one myself. Hope it saves someone else time.
