In this game, you need to cut up the cards into flash cards. With the number cards, you only need to print one for the whole class. The second page, the answer cards, you need to make three copies and then cut them up and divide.

Split the class into three parts. In each team/group, give them three number cards and then the answer cards cut into flashcards. Tell each student they should have at least one card. (you're essentially giving each team 12 cards - some students will have two if your classes are smaller).

Basically, on each team, one student has the answer card that matches the number cards. (all the sentences are from the book btw). You can say, "number 4, please stand up and read", have the student read "If I had one million won now", and the fastest person to give the answer "I would buy my parents nice clothes" gets a point for their team.

I borrowed the idea from someone using the Ji Hak Sa textbook.

Note: this only focuses on page 174.

I had trouble being creative with this lesson and I only have a day to get through Lesson 10 L&T 1 &2. The PPT has the Key expressions and some extra examples and the bomb game is a review of Lesson 9 and 10. Bomb Game template was taken from someone else on waygook.

I have the lesson tomorrow, and it'll be an open class

I've made a PPT, worksheets and a minesweeper game. Unlike the other ones, if you don't answer correctly you'll get minus points.

Wish me luck!

EDIT: Really sorry! This is for Grade 2 Lesson 10, not for Grade 3!

It bombed haha.

I think I know the reason and I think the materials were OK. Not sure I can fix it though

Was it the game that bombed?  I've always had problems with minesweeper.  I find other grid games work better.  Just for future reference.  Thanks for posting this all though.

Yeah mainly the game. Thankfully the onlookers left just as I was starting it.

The rest went ok. Just OK though. I know the reason, but I don't want to say here.

Anyway, I hope the materials will be useful to others!

This is for Grade 3 --> worksheet.

Edit: removed the PPT as I realised I had downloaded and altered kdresker's PPT slightly. Apologies kdresker! Many thnaks to skycoordinator for his subtle hint

This is for Grade 3 --> PPT and worksheet.
Here's a slightly fixed version of yours.

Mostly slight formatting.

One little error that "should have went..." was changed to "should have gone..."

Hope it helps.

Combined the above and got some inspiration from vmajeika game.

Basically pictionary, two teams, two people drawing on the board. First part of the sentence/First person draws "If I were...", Second part of the sentence/Second person draws "I would....."

Teams have to make a sentence using the two pictures. Cards are drawn from a bag so they don't necessarily match which makes it fun!
