Period 4. my ppt has my intro at the beginning, so disregard that. i did vocab review (reading) and baskin robins vocab review game. then did a clap game at the end. disregard the very end RPS game, not finished and didn't do it

period 7. ppt's are mysterybox game that we will be doing and also attached is a virus game that we will do for another lesson, didn't do it for this lesson.

before mysterbox, we are doing a white board telepathy game, where students right down a sentence or expression trying to guess which expression i will write down.

i've attached two activity ppt's: Find the Mistake and a Sleeping Elephants Game.  Find the Mistake has 8 rounds, and Sleeping Elephants has 4.  in my class, we did Find the Mistake, then period 7 of the textbook, and then did Sleeping Elephants as a review game.  also, the font used on the title slide of Find the Mistake is KG Defying Gravity which you can download here: http://www.dafont.com/kg-defying-gravity.font.

The writing portion of the textbook is pretty dire so I did a writing class. PPT attached, I gave everyone white boards and we fixed the sentences together. It's cobbled together from material posted for the old textbook, all I really did was spruce it up with the better version of Powerpoint I have now. Thanks to the original poster.

Also at the end of the PPT there are several blank comic strips with a bank of sentences you can fit into them. I gave them out to the students who filled in the comic strips. Not going to pretend it was the most riveting activity of all time but it's better than the Teacher's Resource Book for this textbook which is just writing out the key expressions over and over again on A4 paper.

Also attached is an Omok sheet; one sheet between each pair, one student is O and one student is X. They say each expression and then cross it off with their letter. Five in a row wins.

Here is a sleeping elephants style game but with a minion theme instead. I got the template elsewhere on waygook so taking no credit I've just adapted it for this chapter. Hope it helps someone with the writing portion of this chapter.

Two simple ppts.  One is a fix the sentences one with eight sentences to fix and the other is just an on screen reference for a level-up/evolution game without any instructions.

Got this Cartoon Unscramble warm-up from another thread and modified it to fit this lesson. To play, I have the student vote for one cartoon or the other and then show the sentence/words to unscramble. This particular PPT has sentences from various videos within this lesson, so I'm using it as the warm-up for my Period 7 Review class.

Here are all my materials. Most of them are taken from this site and adapted, so all credit to the original creators! I also used different lessons with different classes, so some of the activities were repeated.
