Hello!

Here is a lesson plan about the weather. I thought grade 1 middle school students needed something a little more challenging so I focused on weahter idioms. The attached files are a lesson plan, questions for a game, a powerpoint and a group idiom activity. The lesson starts by going through a powerpoint about the weather, then discussing the word idiom, studens divided into 6 groups and each given an idiom where they have to try and guess the meaning, and then a game to review what we have learned.

This looks good. I'll have to try it out soon. I'm still in the early days of teaching the middle schools and need something easy and relatable for them.
