Here are my first two PPTs for this lesson.  I know I used a lesson I found from someone else as the template for these.... and just filled in with information for this lesson, and added a few slides here and there.

Listen & Speak 1

Here is my Lesson plan, PowerPoint presentation and game.

For the game, it is a bomb game. However, when the students don't know the answer they are to say, "No, I don't. [Ask a question]". The question can be any of the 4 W's (Who? What? When? Where?) but must be a complete sentence. When they ask a question, then I will reveal clues about the answer.

Example:
Teacher: "You know what country this is, don't you?"
(Shows picture of Jamaica on a map)
Students: "No, I don't. Where is it?"
Teacher: "It is one of the Caribbean islands near Haiti and Cuba."
Students: "No, I don't. What is it famous for?"
Teacher: "It's famous for reggae music and the Olympic runner Usain Bolt."
Students: "Yes, I do. It's Jamaica."

This worked out very well and some students were even clever enough to ask, "What is the first letter of the answer?"

Listen & Speak 2

Here is my Lesson plan, PowerPoint presentation and activity.

I drew a timeline showing various ways to answer the key phrase "Is it possible that [대명사] can [동사] ___?" Answering yes, no or maybe has it's own key responses (see Lesson plan page 2)

Activity
(Based from the textbook, part C, on page 13)
Students complete their wishes and ask the responses of their classmates. Then write them down.

This game is intended for the key expression "Is it possible?" in lesson 1 part II: Just 15 Centimeters at a Time. Works for a low intermediate/intermediate classroom.

I created this 'choose your own scenario' game myself. The story is silly, but the students actually really enjoyed the different choices. I called on the first student to read the text, and that student (with the class's input) could choose the next step. That student then picked someone else to read the text on the next slide.

The game covers listening, reading, and speaking, so it's great practice, even though the story is a little dumb  ;D

I checked a few times to make sure all the links were in proper order, so it should be good to go. Feel free to modify and re-post, or use it as a template. Have fun!

my lesson for "is it possible".

start of with warm up: guess the word
review "you know, don't you"
introduce key expression
listen and speak 2
pay rock, paper, scissors game

how to play the game:
each student gets a worksheet
on worksheet there is a list of funny tasks (singing, dancing, jumping jacks, ect)
students use key phrase to ask each other "is it possible for you to (funny task)?"
play rock papers scissors
if students who asked "is it possible" is winner. the other student must complete the task and sign their name.
first person to get all signatures is winner
THEN students on winners list must complete tasks in front of class.

this went well with all my level students. here are some tips:
remind them to stand up at beginning. doesn't work if everyone is sitting down.
when introducing funny tasks. DO THEM! sing, dance, do the jumping jacks. if you do it the kids are more likely to do it.
play the game with them. let them ask you "is it possible", play rock paper scissors, and if you lose, sign your name.

i did not create the warm up or the game idea. i found it off different threads on waygook, but i don't know who the original creators are.

Grammar lesson about the third conditional from lesson 1. I used Adele's "If It Hadn't Been for Love" to make it a little more fun. But, let's be honest, grammar isn't exactly the most fun topic out there... I used a fill-in-the blank worksheet that you can easily recreate in a few minutes. I would say the kids didn't hate the lesson, but it definitely wasn't their favorite.
