Listen & Speak 2I'm uploading my PowerPoint
presentation and
game.
This lesson was about "Asking Permission" (허가 요청). For the game, students have to ask each other permission to do something, that's really silly (like a dare), then respond.
Instructions1. Students play the Nunchi (눈치) game. One by one students stand up and say a number starting from 1.
2. If two students stand up at the same time and call out the same number they are to play rock-paper-scissors.
3. The winner chooses a number on the screen. The loser must ask the winner permission using the incomplete sentence on the screen.
Example:
(On the screen: ~hold your hand)
Loser: Do you mind if I hold your hand?"4. The winner must answer the question. If
no, they should reply:
Example:
Winner: I'm sorry, but I do. + [Reason 이유]
Winner: I'm sorry but I do. I don't want you to. If
yes, they should reply:
Winner:
No I don't mind. And they have to DO it.
5. When the the students finished, the class starts over again playing the Nunchi game.
This game was really enjoyable and got the students to quickly learn how to respond to the question because they were so eager for their friends to do something embarrassing!
