Does anyone have materials for this lesson? I was thrown a curveball today (oh Korea...) and have to teach this a LOT sooner than I was expecting. I'll post my materials when I have them completed but anything to help would be amazing! Thanks!

I don't have any materials made yet because I won't be teaching this lesson for 2-3 weeks, but just looking at the key expression "Is it possible _______?", I think a choose-your-own-adventure game would be fun.

I would give the kids mini whiteboards in pairs or groups, and we'd go through the PPT game and in each scenario, I'd ask them "Is it possible to XYZ?" They would choose an option and vote with their whiteboards, and the majority rules. Something like that anyway!

I'm attaching an "Is it possible?" choose-your-own-adventure PPT that was made by another user. (I can't find the thread where it was originally posted, but I downloaded it a few months ago. Thank you to the creator!)

Hope this sparks some ideas for you! Good luck!  :azn:

Yeah, I'm having to teach this lesson tomorrow...

I like the "Choose Your Own Adventure" idea. I have a halloween one that I was going to show but I'll probably change the dialogue. Great suggestion!

Here's what I have so far:
A Warm Heart For Tonj Story (with Korean subtitles) from the YBM webpage
Halloween Bomb Game (feel free to copy/paste the questions to your own template) There's a few Halloween questions thrown in that you may want to delete.
Short and simple PPT - goes over "Is it possible to...", "I wish..." and "Maybe you can..."

You'll probably want to add some more slides to the PPT but it's a good start. I'm cramming Lesson 9 and some Halloween culture into 1 class since my Grade 3 won't have an official Halloween lesson.

Glad I could help!

As it turns out I won't be teaching this lesson at all, since we're doing speaking tests instead. But that Halloween bomb game looks awesome! I think my kids would love that if I do a Halloween lesson. Thanks!  :azn:

Covers listen and speak 1+2, and Into the Conversation. Lesson 2 also covers Listen and speak 1 of Unit 10 briefly, as we were short on time before their final.
The PPTs are very self-explanatory. You can make the memory cards using key phrases of your choice.
