This awesome Naruto bomb game/mystery box game was made by stemarty, but I made all the questions.

I'm going to play this game for the wrap up lesson of this chapter. Don't forget to download the Naruto font!!~~

Maybe too late this year but maybe someone can use it. I find that it's helpful to go over the stories and ask the students to translate each line of dialogue (after watching the video once). I don't like the way it's set up in the textbooks so I made some ppts. I did it for Story 1, 2, and Story Pot but Story 1 is on my other computer. I'll update this if I remember at that school.

I stole this game from a previous poster, but i made an adventure time themed ppt to help explain the game to the students.
Students pick a card and either read the sentence on the card or lie and say a different sentence. Other student 'bet' their paperclips on whether the student is telling the truth or lying. If they are correct, they take back their paperclip. If they are incorrect, they must give their paperclip to the speaker.

My kids loved this game! Thanks for sharing :)

Just wanted to thank mgviola91, elsbethm, okapifire, richardtejedo for sharing their ppts and resources!

My students really enjoyed "Unlock the Bank" for listening and "Write like the Wind" (for writing, obvs). Plus they got a good challenge from the Story Pot Translation ppt and the Bob's Day worksheet.

I edited the "Write Like the Wind" ppt to match the past two 6th grade lessons as well as the next 5th grade lesson. It is a gem and I'll be uploading my versions to those threads.

Hello all ~

I know it's been a while since anyone has posted, but I figured I'd share for anyone still using this book and looking for even more than what's here.

I'm doing a (partial) lesson with the song 'When Will My Life Begin?' from the movie Tangled. I thought it'd be good since it's talking about her daily routine, and even gives a few times at the beginning of the song.

We're going to listen to/watch the video once all the way through, and then we're going to give them a worksheet to fill in the missing words. I was planning on doing the worksheet with the entire song, but my coteacher told me it'd be best to just do the very beginning of the song. I've also made a quick answer PPT with the missing words worksheet, and then the words will appear after you click.

Here's what I'm attaching:

- the video with English and Korean subtitles (thanks to whoever made this - I'm sorry that I can't remember where I found this, it was purely by accident while I was looking for just English subtitles)
- One file with the full lyrics, and the missing words worksheet for the entire song
- One file with the missing words worksheet for only the beginning portion of the song (1/2 page worksheet)
- A PPT with the answers for the missing words worksheet (only for the shortened version, but you can easily add more slides to accommodate more lyrics)

EDIT:
I also downloaded a font for the PPT for the title of the second slide, so it may not display properly right away
