Listening Game:
Give students a set of 8 cards (ant, ants, butterfly, butterflies, ladybug, ladybugs, bee, bees). Give them some sort of prop - I gave each team a cup but a small box would work too. Students listen to the clue and put the correct card in the correct spot. For example, "There is a bee in the cup." (they put the single bee card in the cup) "There are butterflies under the cup." (They put the butterflies card under the cup).
It's a pretty simple activity but my students are lower level, so it worked for them. I split them into teams of 2 because I think any bigger would be a 'too many cooks in the kitchen' scenario. The first three teams to get it correct won a point.
If you're students are higher level, I would give them two or three props - a cup, a box, and something else. Or 3 different color cups: "There are bees in the green cup." "There is a ladybug under the blue cup." But you can use anything really.
On the PPT there are the cards and also a set of bigger cards (the last 2 slides) for teacher use.
