Split the class into three teams.

Give every student one of these cards. It's not super important that they keep it a secret but it's a good idea.

Start with team one. One of the students will need to phone a member of the opposite teams.

They will use the targer dialogue.

A; Hello, this is (name). May I speak to (ember of different team.)

B: Hello, it's me.

A: Let's go XXXXing.

B: Sure/Sorry I can't/Sounds good!

A will then take B's card and that will be the amount of points that her team gets, ranging anywhere from 1 to 5 points. Keep going until yu run out of cards, or the bell goes. hahaha

If a student calls a student who already gave away their card, the student with no card (or the class) can say, "Sorry, he/she's not at home right now.

Game I used for this chapter (borrowed templates)

If a character comes up in the pokemon game, I had the students have a pretend phone conversation with that character. Plants vs. Zombies was similar, they had to make a conversation between to the characters on the top of the slide. For a character on drawing relay the student would say "May I speak to ______" to get the point.

Zombie Town ~ 3D animated intro. Make sure you watch it all once before class, so the videos can buffer ~ Link Below:

Here is a listening game that I made using inspiration I got from 2 other listening activities. I can't remember who the users are but I'm extremely grateful :)
I called the activity fish n dial (I couldn't come up with anything better lol)
-students are in 2 teams
-print out the students name and fish them out of a bag
-have the dialogue with the student and then they chose a reply and see how many points they get.
My 5th graders enjoyed it and my co teacher was happy with it lol

For 2nd period, I did a quick warmer reviewing the vocabulary and expressions. I had students fill in the blanks of a conversation between Naruto and Sasuke.

The main game was a Jump Back game. It was a good way for students to practice "Let's go ____." Template taken by other Waygook user but I tweaked the game and the board graphics.

Here is my lesson for part 1. Some of the activities and PPTs I took from here or other websites, so all credit to the original creators! I also changed many of the dialogues in the Pass the Ball game.
