Here is a quick disappearing dialogue I made for reading time.
I divided the students by color and had them read when they saw their color. Black text was for the teacher to read or the group to read together.

I also included a sleeping elephant I made for the reading.
Also included this song about trees.

I also made a disappearing dialogue ppt (perhaps a little easier to read) which has what I call the "Rock-paper-scissors point-scoring sentence-writing game" at the end. Instructions included.

To go with the World Tour in period 2, I have a "Funny Festivals" ppt. It has a worksheet to go with it, or you could just have students verbally fill-in-the-blanks as on the ppt.
