Still working on the PPT textbook material. I modified a "Do you Mind/Would you mind" permission game I found on another thread. (There is a ludacris gif on slide 35 for standing up, a little something for me, but you can replace it  8) )

Listen and Speak 1

The sheet is related to the sentences used Listen and Speak and conversation. I give them a scenario and they must write the correct sentence for it.

If your students are a bit more advanced. Hide the text on the practice slides and have them guess what the question is.

ex:
You need to use the phone but you forgot yours at home.

The answer is Do you mind if I use your phone?

For the game, you can switch out cards and have them do rock paper scissors.

The point is whoever "loses" picks a strip of paper randomly. They start off by saying Do you mind if I and read whatever the paper says. It's funny and silly challenges. If the group says "no I don't mind" the loser has to do the question they asked.

I didn't test it out yet but it sounded fun in my head lol. With too cool for school teens you never know what the reaction is. Hopefully, they give it a fair shot.
