Hey, attached is a link to my Minions Bomb Review game. I tested it out and everything is working fine. May have problems with Microsoft offfice 2007 with certain slides. Not sure why. But works perfectly on all others!

Once again, I took elements from other great games posted on waygook, so big thanks to them!

Hope you enjoy it.

Really nice template, but I can't get the scores to stop disappearing after clicking on the fruitbowl after certain screens. I have tried clicking on the names, but that just does not seem to work. Any ideas? I'm using 2010.

Hey Mitch,  I have never built a bomb game before.  Your template looks great.  I added questions but don't see an answer page.  When the student answers correctly,  I think I just add the screen with points won, points lost, etc... I also am unsure how to make the scores automatically total(if that is what happens).  Can you give some instruction on how to build the game from the template for someone like me who has never done so.  Thanks.

Mr. Kim

Such a cute game! The minions are great! The only problems I've encountered is when I get to the choosing a character screen. I've clicked on both the name and character but both make my points disappear and all the letters on the questions page reappear. I can keep track of this manually though! Otherwise, great job!

Yes, I have had the same problem with the board resetting after one of the "choose one of the four" screens comes up.  Same thing happened with a Doraemon game as well.  Are there any fixes out there?

Thanks to all for replying.

With regards to the problems with scores disappearing and letters not disappearing, I really don't know what to say. I really think it's got something to do with Microsoft Power Point versions. Or maybe even versions of Windows (doubtful).

It works absolutely perfectly on my current classroom's computer and I am using Windows 7 and Microsoft Power Point 2007 (even though in my first post I claimed it may not work on 2007).

I really don't know a lot about computers so can't help. Sorry.

teuksunkim - There is no answer page, the bar at the bottom of the question pages is where you insert the answers. And regarding the scores, there is no way to automatically do it. You have to manually click the grey bars on the character selection page to change the points. And finally, the template is just for you to ask input simple questions and answers, not build a game from the template. I hope this helps!!

Mitch

I've been using this template for 1st grade (middle school) reviews all week, and haven't had any problems at all with the score counters. Thanks a bunch, it's been a great hit!

Just curious, does anybody know if all these bomb games: Pokemon, Doraemon, Minions etc. work on Google slides, or do they only work on powerpoint?

Cheers!

Hi I love the game and want to use if for my 3rd &5th grade. I was wondering what the change points mean? What am I supposed to do when a change points/purple minion shows up?

I haven't looked at the game yet, but usually 'change points' means that the team gets to switch points with another team of their choice.

I haven't been having any issues with the scores but when the pick four screens appear the only result that comes up is all teams lose bananas. Has anyone else had this problem at all?

Yes! I did. I think on some versions of powerpoint the redirect links get messed up.

What you need to do is for each of the 4 option slides just change which slide they direct to. There are 4 options just below the choice slide, direct 1 picture to 1 slide. If that doesnt make sense let me know and I'll explain it better haha

Thank you for this, MitchCraig!

I had the same trouble with the scoreboard and selection slides resetting after the choose-your-fate slides, so I -ahem - fixed the problem. I gave it the appearance of giving a choice, but really the whole slide just moves on to one option no matter if you click on the Joker or Captain America.  (The kids will never know...)

Also, amidst the prelude I put in a slide containing a short video of marooned minions hallucinating in a boat over bananas .  If the video doesn't work or slows things down, it can be deleted easily.

My classes are divided into six groups, so I added two more characters and tallies, and I messed around with them to make the default a double zero instead of a blank.  Click any character to move on to the selection slide.
