Easter - middle school
« on: April 18, 2011, 12:23:23 PM »
Hi   :)

This is my Easter lesson.  (Middle School)

First I show the ppt about Easter.  (I do a lot of talking)
- I added songs from Hillsong.  The kids seems to like it, if you don't want to play it just skip it.
- I play them one.

Afterwards I play a multiple choice game with them.
- Used the multiple choice form the Mega Game Pack on waygook and changed it a bit.

And if there's time left, I give them a word search to do.  (From www.bogglesworldesl.com)

I hope someone will be able to use it :)
Just go through the ppt and game and make sure everything is OK before you use it.

Happy Easter!!!

thanks for sharing.  One small thing: I changed the font.... the students might find it difficult to read. I'm going to try it in my after school class tomorrow.

don't you think this lesson is a little religiously charged to teach to your students?  I would never show this to my students

This is great! Thanks! I wanted to make an Easter lesson for my kids but didn't get around to it (yes, yes, lazy teacher. But there are so many awesome already made lessons  ;) ). Anyway, thank you!

And yeah, it is religious. But the holiday exists so they might as well know about it. I've always liked religious lessons--as long as there was no forced worship. It's good to know the "why"s of the world.

Do you teach at a evangelical Christian school?  This powerpoint is ridiculous!  Especially the Bible quotes and the Christian music!  If you were a public school teacher in Canada or the U.S. you would be severely reprimanded.  You are here to teach the children English and Western culture, not to be a missionary!
