coool! i am doing the same with my 4th graders now too. What worked well for me was introducing them to Cinderella and all the 'cleaning up' she does. I made a little skit and students acted as cinderella, bad sisters and the mother. They totally loved it .. and the skit can be as simple as
Bad sister 1: Pick up the spoon
Bad sister 2: Was the dishes, they are so dirty
Cinderella: I am so tired
Bad sister 1: feed the cat and dog
Bad sister 2: water the plants
Cinderella: Im sad
Bad sister 1: bring me some ramyeon
Cinderella: here you are (cockroach in ramyeon)
*sisters throw cake and falls on ground*
mother: PICK IT UP!

Just starting a thread for this chapter.  It looks like it is a combination of body parts and adjectives.

Me too. Hopefully, I'll have some of my lesson plans up soon. I've been sick for two weeks and haven't had anytime to make anything recently. I'm going to work my butt off this weekend and have some stuff ready by Monday.

Here are powerpoints to introduce the vocabulary for Part 1 and Part 2 and a Pass the Paper to review Part 1

Just added a MmDonuts game - probably best used after Lesson 3

This is a great lesson to teach body parts if they don't already know them.  I like to use the flashcards at MES-English and use them as the basis of the Pass the Ball game

Also consider playing "Simon Says" for either Part 1 or 2

Here is a matching game that would be best used for lesson 3 or later

There are actually three matching games - the first uses clowns, the second people, and the third animals.  The student has to say something about the picture before getting points like "He has big ears" - there are bombs in these games and they cause you to lose all of your points - to cover a picture back up if they were unsuccessful in finding the match, just click on the circle in the upper left corner

One last game - this is a word scramble game with a timer - not too many words but it is the vocabulary from the teacher's guide, minus the word "right" because I couldn't find it in the chapter - probably best saved for the final review

Here is a mario game for review in period 6. I did not make the template of the mario game myself and am not trying to pass it off as my own (thanks to whoever did!), but I changed the content to match the lesson. Enjoy

Make a monster board game:

http://www.education.com/files/133001_133100/133025/play-monster-mix-ups.pdf

Have the students describe the monsters they make.
