Hello,

I was asked by my grade 6 co-teacher to do a review of lessons 8-10 for their midterm exams. I gave them a speed game where one student stands in front of the screen and the other team members have to explain what it is using English and actions (no korean). I give them 1 minute or 90 seconds and 3 passes. I also did a simple bomb game where they write down their answers and get points accordingly. They love both games.

Regards,

Ian

Not much here, so I'll contribute a review bomb game based on Sprite05's Yugioh template. It covers lesson 8-10. Hope this helps someone else out who might be in a bind.

review survey game with questions from 8,9,10

connect 4 game i made from lesson 11

these 2 activities should cover 20 minutes or so - maybe more if you want the students to report back to the class.

For our review lesson we had our 6th graders create memes and had a contest. The review and writing the memes takes the whole period and you may not have time for voting for all of them, but some of out kids were really creative and they had fun! :) Enjoy and thanks to all who have contributed!

Prepwork:
Worksheet for each student
Print and cut out meme contest cards

This was a brilliant way to review! Thanks very much @rcrossen.  I edited to include Lesson 8-12 and added the vocab to the beginning of the ppt, and taboo to the end of the ppt to kill the last ten minutes in my higher level classes.  They loved making memes!

For the competition, I made a ppt of the best memes from the grade, which I will show to the students after their test.  Feel free to change my picture to yours.
