The usual from me, if/when I make more ppt's I'll edit this post & attach them here. Happy teaching!

Intro: Pretty self explanatory. (Ideal for the first period)

Slap game: Divide the class into two teams, 2 students come up to the front and have their back facing the TV screen with fly swatters. I'll say the phrase "You have to ____." Both students then turn around & the first person to slap the correct picture on the TV using the fly swatter gets a point for their team. (Ideal for the first period)

Period 2 Intro: Added some extra slides to review the key expressions. (Ideal for the second period)

Heads Up 7 Up game: Instructions included in the PPT. You'll also need the cards from page 299 of the student book (There's only 6 of them). (Ideal for the second period)

Period 3 Intro: Added some more slides, this time for the expression "Can you help me with _____?" (Ideal for the third period)

Connect 4 game: Divide the class into 2 teams (Red VS Blue), students have to say the expression "Can you help me with _____?" in order to place their teams colour marker in the square. (Ideal for the third period)

Baskin Robbins 31 game: Students play in pairs, taking turns reading either 1, 2 or 3 boxes. Whoever reads box 31 is the loser. (Ideal for the fourth period)

Blazing Pens game: Is there anyone who doesn't know how to play blazing pens??? :P (Ideal for the fifth period)

First time poster, here.  Thank you so much for all of the material.

Intro powerpoint with the vocab and expressions.

Pass the Pencil case, modified from someone else's ppt (thanks!).

A little role play where the students can use their creativity if they want.

Here's an intro with key words and key expressions with Korean along with a "Pirates of the Classroom" game. The game focuses on them making sentences of "I/You/He/He/We/They have to _____."

For this lesson we chose a game and I explained it, then we played it, then they had to write down the rules using "You have to.." "You should..." and "Don't..."
We chose Fruit Salad.
They all sit on their desks, we chose 4 fruits and and each student got one. Then we took 1 desk away and made a student come to the front. They had to say: 'You should eat...fruit."Then those with that fruit change seats, and the one at the front must find a seat.
If they say: "You should eat FRUIT SALAD." everyone changes seats.
We also said not to push or fight. They enjoyed this lesson a lot. Hope it helps someone. ^.^

Cloud grid game (for period 1/2): Make a sentence: (Hulk/Psy..) you have to (turn off your phone/ buy tickets/ wait in line/ stand behind the line etc.)

Speed game: 2 students stand with their backs against the TV, turn around on the count of 3 and the first student to say the right expression, gets a point for their team.

warmed up with a spelling game - get alphabet letters from your class or print flash cards - each student should get at least 2-3 alphabet letters, in any order. Then I write a word on the board and they have to spell it as a class

e.g. the word is "wait" = so the student(s) who has 'w' must hold the letter up and yell 'W' . then so on with a, i and t.

Do this as a practice a few times then try a whole sentence. Once you've done a couple sentences as a class (tell them to get faster, in sync, etc) then you ask one student to leave the class and while they're outside tell the rest of the class that the 'secret sentence' is "You have to wait in line" - you can do any sentence from the textbook.
Then, student is asked to come back in, tell them that they must listen to their classmates spell out a sentence and they have to try and guess what it is - they are allowed a whiteboard marker to try spell it out while writing. This gets really fun and I played a few rounds with different students leaving. Good way to get them practicing spelling and key expressions. See more info on my blog post : http://mrsbaiasclassroom.blogspot.kr/2015/09/super-simple-spelling-game.html

Next, after some textbook activities I did a make your own bingo  I use this website to write out all the key vocab : http://www.classtools.net/random-name-picker/
and tell them to make a 9 square gird in their notebooks. 3 by 3 by 3??
Then I gave them about 14 words from the textbook vocab and told them they can choose 9 and put one word in each box - their choice, don't repeat words. Then we played bingo using the random-name-picker to generate bingo words so it's more game like than me picking. Just click edit on the site and you can fill in any list of words you like. You could do full sentences also.

Next class, a puzzle game. I get them to write 4 key expressions in the boxes. (4 boxes, 1 per box) then below they should draw a quick self portrait and write their name. Next, fold and glue so that the A4 becomes halved and now it's double sided. Next, cut on the dotted lines so that there are 3 puzzle pieces now. Next, mix all the classes puzzle pieces together if a small class - big classes do it in groups of 4 and swap group members so they don't make their own puzzles. Then, say GO! and time who can make their puzzles first. Full lesson details here - but I did it with another subject: http://mrsbaiasclassroom.blogspot.kr/2015/08/esl-puzzle-game-and-lesson-plan.html
blank worksheet is attached, if you want illustrated for this lesson click here: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/ESL-PUZZLE-GAME-for-any-topic-2094445

Mystery box game; it's all scrambled words/sentences, so it's probably best for reading or writing periods.

Very simple brainstorming activity.  I am going to do it for the Story Pot lesson.

After doing the book, I will put the students into six groups and give them all the worksheet and 1 place card (which I have laminated and cut out).  They must come up with two "have to...", one "don't...", and one "can you help me with...." sentences for each place. At the end the class will come together and see what each group came up with.  If some group has unique, interesting, different sentences I will reward them.

That's all!

Some materials for Period 6 - Story pot.

Changed the mystery box game and added some story pot comprehension questions.

Worksheet for students to write about a problem, then swap with their partner and write advice.

Threw this together in a crossword generator as a last minute filler for a class I was not supposed to teach today. Did it with Storypot and the comprehension quiz posted by another user (thank you- you saved my ass).

4 picture 1 sentence game.
In groups, students have 30 seconds to look at the 4 pictures and write the correct sentence.
I haven't used it yet, so i'm not sure how well it will go down but feel free to use it :)

I made this activity for the end of lesson 9. It is a speaking and writing "game" for my 6th graders (who are incredibly uninterested in everything lol).

I used the recent earthquakes to create a news story that involved the president asking Korean student studying English to help bring order back to tourist sites, as all signs in English were destroyed during the quakes.

I'm going to have the student split up into 6 groups and make posters that involving rules for the sites. (Please, wait in line. You need to buy a ticket first etc)

Once they are done I'm going to have them present as a group in front of the class. I'm going to try to cram this into 20-25 min, but I feel like it could easily take the whole period. Maybe even two if you want to stretch it out.

Annnyyywaaayy super easy to change the sites or add on if need be. Hope this is helpful :)
