A lesson about heroes.

Yo fellow English teachers!

Here is a lesson I put together for my first graders (middle school). I've included a ppt and a worksheet. Use it, go crazy and alter as much as you want. I divided all my kids into groups and gave them hero-related names. They loved competing against one another.

if you have small classes or access to a lot of computers, there is a fun program that allows you to design superheros using scads of colors, accessories, and templates.  I just tried to access the website (it's at ugo.net or something like that) but my school has apparently blocked it.
