I got this idea from a friend who got it from a website. lol. so props to them!

ppt explains it. pretty simply game! its regular old hangman. except if they get a letter correct, they can roll the dice. and each number means a face part. they go up and draw that face part. the goal is to have a whole face. if they get a finished face they win!

I only give them one guess (a letter or the word) per turn.

note: to extend the game. if they roll the dice and it's for 'eye'. only let them draw one 'eye'.

if they roll a number and they don't need that face part, too bad! they have to wait until they get to roll again.

my lower level middle schoolers did well with this game. I picked the first word. but after that round, I let the kids take over - they really liked being able to pick a word and take control of the game :)

the faces they make can be pretty hilarious.
