I say skip using a Spirit Board (in your case a Parker Brothers' Ouija Board) in your lessons and get together a group of like-minded friends to use one at home.
Whether you believe Spirit Boards are "real" or "fake" doesn't matter because what's very real is everyone's varied perception of them. When you have the potential for responses that range from indifferent or lukewarm to vehemently opposed to what you're doing - it's best to both consider the true intention behind why you wish to incorporate something into your lesson and whether or not you're willing to manage any potential backlash that might come as a result of your actions.
Wishing you the best.
