If I might so audacious as to make a suggestion though: could you please consider a version with no visuals or audio during the 'reading test' words? The reason I ask is that I find my students have a strong overreliance on sight reading, so to push the phonics aspect I think it'd be great to test the kids on a different random selection of three-letter words they don't know (or even just nonsense words) each time the song is played. A blanked song would allow me to prepare a bag of CVC words and pick out a new random one during the interlude each time.
