You can play this game with the textbook attachment on page 147; Show them the PPT, and have them arrage the names of the days in order as shown.

I posted this on G5 L2's topic before I realized the lesson would be the same for 4th grade. Check out the old lesson topic for inspiration/ideas of the 5th grade Lesson 2, since the material is still usable for us... :D

Here are the motions I taught last year. Here's the video I used to teach them so they could practice: <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Po32PQoPcMI>

SUNDAY (arms over head like the sun)
MONDAY (do a 'I don't know', hands up on either side of your body. This motion goes with 뭔데
TUESDAY (peace signs--or victory Europe-- for the number 2)
WEDNESDAY (clap hands together--  웬일이니)
THURSDAY (point at your throat--same 'th' sound)
FRIDAY (flip your hands over like frying an egg)
SATURDAY (like circle your hands over eachother-this is to be like tossing a salad.)

Repeat and speed it up to see if the kids can do it faster an faster. You'll get confused too, but everyone will have fun!

On the 20th slide of this Ppt it says 'when day is it'
if you're going to use this Ppt make sure you correct this! :)

[Mod edit: Removed Videos]

I wrote the lyrics for the song really quickly for my coteacher.
Thought I'd post them up here.
Put in your own blanks and have students fill them in if you want.

(Sorry for any mistakes if you find any)

NOT the role-play from the book, an alternative role-play:

Ss fill in the blank what day they like (or you can jot down Mon/Tues..) and they list what classes they have.

1: What day is it today?
2: Hmm..ItÂ’s _(Mon.)__.
3: _(Mon.)____?
1: We have _____, _____, ______,
______, and _________ today.
2: I like ________ class.
3: I like ________  class.
1: What classes do we have tomorrow?
2: Tomorrow is __________.
1: We have _____, _____, ______,
______, and _________ tomorrow.
3: I like ________  class.

music   art   math   social studies
Korean   English   science   P.E.

I have them in groups of 3 and I write A1,A2,A3, B1,B2 etc... on their scripts to mix up the teams and pass the #1s to higher level students.
