Hi all,
First post.
Here's an in-progress all-purpose template that I sometimes use in my classes. I made it in Powerpoint 2010, but I don't think it'll have any major issues running on earlier versions - perhaps a few animations won't work, is all.
It's set up as an iPhone and has several apps. Currently, only the quizzes are ready to use. But if you are a bit savvy, feel free to use the YouTube and Line apps and adjust for your classes.
My plan is to eventually get all the apps up and running.
There are 2 quizzes in the phone's Quiz app.
Level 1 is a panel quiz. Basically, you get a question right and then choose a box. Boxes change color and there is a steal option. The team with the most boxes wins. It's a listening quiz game with only the scoreboard on the phone - i.e. you will need to prepare the questions on paper. I currently have it set to work for 3 teams. There is no color reset button, so try not to select boxes by accident.
Level 2 is a bomb/typhoon-type game. Each box takes you to a question which then takes you to the points. No in-built time limit, but you may want to impose one in your class.
The theme is luck, so I usually give them a fortune based on their final scores ('big' fortune, 'middle' fortune, fortune, bad fortune).
In the template, I have kept some of the questions as they were, so you can see the idea of how it works. Sorry about the Japanese, but the content isn't important, anway.
Change the questions, answers, etc for your classes, but try not to move or delete slides etc, as it will mess up the hyperlinks. Same goes for the boxes.
Let me know if you have any questions or experience any issues.
