A relatively easy lesson reviewing Season names with an emphasis on winter vocabulary. I'm using it for my 4th grade class and I'm hoping it's easy enough for them.
The PowerPoint introduces each activity with examples and follows up the activities with answers to all of the worksheets (sans the wordsearch. For this I just let the students fill any extra time and whoever has found the most words gets a piece of candy).
(All of the worksheets are included at the end of the powerpoint. Simply copy and paste them to a new ppt and print them double sided for your students.)
Activities:
Vocab Introduction
Speaking: Spot the difference, students have to describe their photo and figure out what is different between them and their partner.
Reading/Writing: Students have to fill in the blanks on a worksheet to complete the sentences. Korean translation given as a hint, can be deleted if you have better students
Speaking/Reading: Students are given images that correlate to their partner's questions and vice versa. Using speaking and listening they have to ask the question and write down the correct answer.
Identification: Optional word search included
After the speaking/reading/listening exercise the students will play the Pororo bomb game. I found this on Waygook somewhere and made no alterations to it, however I couldn't re-find it. Because Waygook is hard. If it's your PPT let me know and I'll cite you here.
I think I'll do a little hangman (making a flower instead of a dead body ha) as a warmer for the day. Pretty chill lesson overall.
Cheers~
