Since Christmas is around the corner I wanted to share a game that I play in my high school classes. The lesson goes as followed:
1. Begin class with the Pentatonix video (.mp4 attached below)
2. Create a short class discussion by asking what they already know about Christmas.
3. Separate students into groups of four. Each group has one whiteboard, marker, and eraser for answers (pieces of paper also work in place of the whiteboards) Go over the rules and play the game. (Frosty the Snowman .mp3 attached for one of the trivia questions)
4. If time permits, we'll watch the Mariah Carey/Justin Bieber Christmas video. (.mp4 attached below)
My students LOVE trivia even when it's questions that they don't know the answer to. The memory game portion has been a hit any time I use it. I teach in low level high schools so we play a lot of games. Enjoy!
