STAR WARS GAME TEMPLATE

Merry Christmas everyone! I was looking for a Star Wars game template and the only ones I could find on waygook had download links to dead sites(megaupload and rapidshare), so I created my own from scratch. It's my first time doing so. I hope all the sound effects and music work. Please use and share freely. If you make any adjustments or create a full game out of it. Please upload and share on this thread.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

I am often amazed at how much more capability and enthusiasm for science there is among elementary school youngsters than among college students.

Stretched out old man Solo to match the other icons. Made the title music last the first two slides. Added victory screens with music and fireworks. Enjoyed learning how to make fireworks. The size of the ppt blew up though. So it's in two compressed parts. Just unpack one of the files with winrar or something similar while both files are in the same directory.

Well, whilst we're here, I have a Star Wars Battleships template you might like too. Whipped up a whole bunch of alternate themes way back when the Cheonan sunk.

 I realized when I came into to work and tested the powerpoint game that the intro music does not work. The ending music and sound effects all work. This is because I made the ppt using PowerPoint 2013 which allows mp3s and larger files to be embedded (not linked). At work I have a Korean version of word that is 2007 I think. I was having trouble finding the option to decrease the size of the mp3 (or coverted wav file) to under 100KB, which would allow it to be embedded in older versions of Powerpoint. So instead I give you an mp3 and a wav file with the music. Just insert the audio (INSERT --> Speaker icon) in slide one, move it away from the visible area and program it to play automatically. Then go to ANIMATION (open animation pane) and move it up to the top. Hope this helps.

This PowerPoint is 34MB, so it's in two compressed parts. Just unpack one of the files with winrar or a similar program while both files are in the same directory. ENJOY and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Version 6 Update:

Fixed some minor errors. The two biggest changes are:

- I included the shorthand version of the characters names (my students kept forgetting the characters names and I would have to repeat them.

- Programmed the credit/switch/lose points animation on it's own slide so it doesn't interfere with the picture you will place on the first slide.

Again I provide the MP3 for the intro music, which for some reason won't stay embedded. Directions as before:

Just insert the audio (INSERT --> Speaker icon) in slide one, move it away from the visible area and program it to play automatically. Then go to ANIMATION (open animation pane) and move it up to the top (Make sure value is zero, if value is something else, right click and select play with previous) Hope this helps.
