Family Feud!
« on: December 23, 2015, 10:26:01 AM »
I made a Family Feud style game (from scratch using PPT and Photoshop). Good for a free lesson or even for camp!  ;D

Handed out a survey with random questions (usually just favourite something or name something) and then took 100 of them and typed all the answers into a spreadsheet to find out the rankings. Took a very long time so I hope you appreciate and your students get some use out of it.

Easily takes up a whole class but might get a little repetitive depending on the attention span of your students. You can change the rules or have a different variety of rounds. I did this with my middle school and it worked well. If you want to know how I played it then just ask :)

Some of the slides are set to hidden because I didn't have time to do all of them during the class and some of them were just too long or a bit boring. Feel free to use whichever ones you want.

The survey was done in about Sep/Oct 2015 so be careful if you use it later because some answers are affected by this. For example the top drama that students wrote was 용팔이 which was airing around that time and there might be some other answers like that. Just a warning ^^

I attached the spreadsheet too. You don't need it but hey if you want to check it out and see some of their other answers then it's there.

Have fun and enjoy~  ;D

I just played this with my 2nd grade middle schoolers and explained the survey of another group of kids and they loved it. This is a problem school for me and this went off better than pretty much anything all year. Thanks for the hard work and great material.

You are most welcome!  ;D It's great to hear it went well and really nice to know it's appreciated.

Thank you for saving me from making another one ^_^
