Very small conversation class
« on: February 02, 2016, 03:23:40 PM »
Hello,

I live in South Korea and have been teaching at a hagwon here for about 2 and a half months.
The owner and head teacher have me teaching a 3 person conversation class for their children and I am looking for ideas on how to spice it up so that they are not bored all of the time.
So far I find a topic find questions we go over them together fill them out. Then we think of extra questions we can ask for each main question and then I go with one of them and the other two are a pair. We go over the questions conversation style. I hope to make it so that eventually we dont need to pre fill out the questions. I have recently been starting out the lesson with a quick game where I write questions on the board they throw a ball at it and whatever one it lands on they have to talk for 30-60 seconds about.
Any other small game ideas? Or better conversation building techniques?
They are all middle school but medium high level English students.

Thank you in advance!!!
