My co-teacher has me make vocabulary review slideshows. Here's one I made for lesson 13. This lesson is a little short on vocabulary, so I focused more on different conjugations of "have" for the ailments that the book talks about: I have a fever, he has a runny nose, she has a cough.

At the end I also included a little journal entry that I made up about a sick day. I had the kids write a similar journal entry - I think it was part 6 of the lesson when we had time.

Here is a worksheet with several different sections:  practice writing key vocabulary/key phrases, write a sentence for each picture, wordsearch, crossword, draw a picture for the word "black eye", and a tongue twister.  Can take up half a class period or a full class period, depending on your students' level.

And it's all on one page.  =)

Modified Human Zero Game:

Students get into groups of 4. They say the sentence on the screen and choose 1, 2, 3, or 4 people to stand up. Then, the PPT will reveal a number. If a group has a correct number of people standing, they will get 1 point.

Two Games:

CHase the vocab:
Have the class say the key sentences for each photo. Put students into groups of 3 - 5. T must say, What is under number _____? Students must write the key sentence on a white board. If they are right, they get 1 point for their team. They love this game.

Word Rearranging Game:
T shows how to do the game with a few examples using the white board. To play the game: students must have a set of word cards and arrange them according to each slide. When they are finished, they must put their hands on their heads. The first group to finish will get a point.  Students may help their friends.
