Minecraft PPT?
« on: April 21, 2016, 11:40:08 AM »
My kids have been asking me constantly this past month for a Minecraft game. Has anyone made a Minecraft themed PPT template?

Someone posted it way back in 2012: http://www.waygook.org/index.php?topic=46345.0

Use google to search for stuff on waygook, just type in: minecraft waygook.

Appreciate it. I searched within the page but found no results. I'll search through Google from no on. Thanks!

I've made a few, yeah. I might've uploaded them to various chapter/lesson plan pages here, but I'm not sure whether I ever uploaded blank versions. I suppose now's as good a time as any.

1) Minecraft Collect 4:  It's a trivia/bomb template. Instead of points, students are given objects. The first team to collect all 4 objects is the winner. On the score keeping slide, click the +/- next to an object to make it appear or disappear in the corresponding team's box.
Note: This game only really works with three teams. With two it will be over too quickly, and the score slide isn't set up for 4 or more.

2) Minecraft Hidden Treasure:  I made this one to practice reading. Just replace the text with vocabulary words. When they read a word, click it to reveal the prize/penalty. No score slide with this one, sorry. You'll have to use the board, like a caveman.

3) Minecraft Watch Out for Creeper: I made this one for practicing the alphabet, so it's only really useful for elementary 3rd grade and younger. Just replace the letters on the tiles with whatever letters they're studying at the time. Click them to reveal the reward/penalty. Again, no score slide this time, so get your caveman on.

Hope people get some use out of them.
