(Judy Yin) Grade 3, Lesson 4 - "I Like Fish"
« on: April 26, 2011, 01:24:24 pm »
Looks like:  orange/red with a cat making a fist
Who has it: nicojohnson, BBetz1985, embesen, weirdgirlinkorea,
Authors: Judy Yin
Publisher:

Here are my materials for the lesson 4. I like fish

There is an intro PPT using some of the old books vocabulary words, A Pass the Paper PPT. These were taken from other people's PPTs and edited to fit this lesson.

I also have two worksheets, one a review for in the middle of the lesson and a test.

Let me know if anything needs editing.

A simple intro PPT explaining I like and I don't like, and a variation on the Make & Play activity from the book.  I will print handouts with a picture of a plate, knife and fork - the students will draw foods they like and dont like on their plates, and present them verbally in front of the class.

Hey guys

Here are my materials for lesson 4-1 and 4-2. I used the templates of previous posts - thanks for posting! Changed it to my liking.
Lesson 4-1:
1. Intro of pets and then "I like/don't like" practice.
2. Candy game: each student gets a turn to make a sentence: "I like ___." Click on the word, and reveal if there is candy behind it or                   not. Give the lucky student candy, and go on to the next slide.
3. Bomb game - team has to make a sentence: "I like __ " or "I don't like __"

Lesson 4-2:
1. Intro of foods and "No I don't/Yes I do" practice.
2. Pororo game practicing "I like/don't like" and "Yes I do/No I don't"

2 games and an intro worksheet. The worksheet can be used as a template for tests in following classes.
Use them once the kids have the basic target language mastered.
My thanks for the templates
