Speech topics needed!

My middle school students need to write a script and then present the speech. It can be about anything.

I'm having trouble coming up with topics that aren't too difficult or dry. They should be able to write using their own ideas. This isn't a research project.

Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you.

I'm not sure but depends on the level of students.. but at my last highschool if i remember correctly, students got to choose from the following: using their own personal experiences as reasons/proof.

Who is your role model and why?
What is your goal/dream in life and why? (whether it's a career, to be happy, travel, etc)
As a society, what is one way we can improve Korea?

You are suggesting that these kids be super creative and/or be able to think for themselves...
