Not sure if there's a better place to post this but...
Here's a phonics board game I use with my students.
The game is really simple to play. There are two sets of cards: question cards and superhero cards. Use an infinity board (circular board, I've attached the one I use) and mark a few squares as "special." Students roll the dice and move the piece. If they land on a regular, blank space they take one of the phonics cards and answer the prompt. If they land on a special space they take a superhero card. 3 superhero cards means they are the winner. I also like to add a few "put a card back" spots where students have to return one of their superhero cards, just to make them answer more questions.
I have three sets of cards based on levels.
Beginner - CVC words, letter sounds, just very simple
Intermediate - CVC, CVCe, letter sounds, SH/CH, silent e, etc.
Advanced - CVC, CVCe, TH/SH/CH/EE/OO/etc
The cards have Korean written on them, so if you're not certain what they say I've translated below.
Alphabet (ABC..) 말하기 - say the alphabet
- How do you say this sound?
- what's a word that starts with this/these letter(s)?
소문자 쓰기 - write the lower case letter
대문자 쓰기 - write the upper case letter
- what are the 5 English vowels?
- what letter has no sound? (the answer is magic/silent e)
- what is the first letter in this word?
- what is the last letter in this word?
