Show the movie and ask past tense questions. Go over past tense verbs and their present tenses. Ask students to say what they did yesterday.
Modified Long or Short Story Time Word Search:
Students do word search. After completing the word search, the extra letters, from left to right, and from the top row to the bottom, make a secret message. The secret message is "I like English class. I love the story." There is an extra (x) at the end.
