The premise is that Bowser stole Princess Peach and you need to save her. It has 3 levels and at each level were different worlds featured the ghosts, mushrooms, and the star things. At each level were different mini worlds such as a cloud land and a wrecked pirate ship and a dungeon. It was a super great bomb game and I would love to find it again!

You miiiiiight be thinking of my stuff. This sounds like something I did.

Naturally, I have a whack of Mario PRG PPT games, but a few come to my mind when I read your post.
Check them out and see if it fits the bill.
