This is not a unique idea, nor is it my idea, but it's a good one. If you know Mafia, you know the concept of this game. Once they understand it, and getting them to understanding takes many false starts, demonstrations, practice games, and sometimes the finer nuances explained by your ct, the kids love it. There is another thread on this in the High School section, but I thought it would be nice to have it in the general section so it will be seen by teachers from other levels.
Here is my version of a ppt and cards. It's a simple version, I talk and act more than show explanation on ppts.
I tell them the premise: in a small village at night, one or two of the townsfolk becomes a werewolf and eats someone - find it before it eats you all.
I kept it simpler than other versions, with no cupid/lover part, or mayor etc etc. If you google this game you'll see you can add many characters to make it more complicated. But I used just werewolves, townsfolk, a witch (doctor) and a seer. The PPT also has a hunter (who was going to be like a policeman from the Mafia game), but I didn't use him in the game, because there weren't enough students. Next time, if there are enough kids, I'll use him to a protector - each night he chooses someone to protect. Also, because the kids always felt sad if they died early I allowed the witch to bring someone back to life if they wanted.
Also, try out some background music. Here are two links to two things I had playing at the same time as I haven't found the one perfect track yet. Spooky music plus occasional wolf howls will work well to create an ambiance.

That's the one hitch with this game, the kids always fall back into Korean when they start arguing and accusing. I felt that if you want the kids to really enjoy the game I needed to allow some Korean during the main discussion, but get them to tell me the results and reasons in English).
Today is a stormy day... just perfect for this game. Turn out the lights, put some spooky music on, they kids will both love it and hate you for doing it to them. mwahahahhaha ahhhh yeh.
