Is your school one of the many that aren't getting funding for NETs anymore?

Just curious how many of you at your school have found out your school won't be getting anymore
funding for NETs starting in September?

Also, I know that the contract states for GEPIK we are notified 2 months before end of contract if we are getting
renewed or not.  But if the school already knows in advance, do you think they would tell you right away (like in April/May instead of June?) or would they hold the news and tell you at around the 2 months remaining mark?

I think my school knows they aren't getting funding for NET next semester so they can't renew me, but they aren't telling me right now, I have to wait until end of June.   If I'm not getting renewed, it would be nice to know earliest so I can start planning for a job by September.

My school won't have NET funding... and i do not think the school will tell you about it for a while... you know those asians, such procrastinators

by second-hand experience, if there's bad news about your employment situation then people will wait until the last possible moment to tell you.  maybe everyone else found out months in advance, but those who are in a position to have a bad reaction to it find out last.  i'd love to know why this is typically the case here, but regardless it's quite possible.  the other possibility is that they're not saying anything because there's no news - good or bad - to deliver.
if you really need to know, try asking about it.  "yes" means 'yes', silence means 'no'.

You might as well start looking for a position. I started as soon as my school said they didn't know either way if I could renew. I felt bad about turning a couple places down when I found out I could stay, but recruiters can find them someone else in no time, so they don't really take offence to it.

Is this only for GEPIK teachers? And what are the differences between, GEPIK, EPIK and SEIPIK? If these are all different programs and all are being affected, will they all be affected in the same way?

I'm in Gepik and my school isn't going to have the funds to keep me. They told me in December.
