Two role play ideas
« on: July 14, 2011, 01:21:29 am »
Hi everyone, I am currently teaching in China. It's almost 1.30am and still trying to find inspiration for my private classes for the coming days. Since I need to post 5 posts before I can download anything here we go :)

First:

Two nice role-plays that are perhaps not very easy to find on the internet but are great fun! Blackout and Heatwave.

Would you mind re-posting the Heatwave pdf file, please? I've tried opening it directly from the link, as well as saving and opening it, and it won't open the file properly at all.
Thanks.

My students really enjoyed these. Worked particularly well for the high level kids (Middle school 2nd and 3rd Grade). Thank you so much!

I did a role play with my students and they absolutely loved it! I split my students into groups of four characters - Sue, Jane, Paul, Mystery woman (refer to the attachments and instructions), and had them write out their role play individual. And then, at the end we came back and each member from each group formed their own. That way, they get to work with other individuals from the other group and read what they wrote.
