The lesson is taken from a MS lesson I did last week and slightly adapted for high school.

Its pretty straightforward, there are 2 short quizzes one at the beginning (capital cities) and one toward the end (famous landmarks/ cityscapes). Students learn about the one city topic and then write a few sentences to describe that topic, then have some students read out their descriptions. Then move onto the next topic. I try to get students to give me descriptive words as we go through each so as they have reference points when it comes to writing.

The figures for each given city and the megacity stuff have all been pulled from wikipedia or some other referencing website. Disagree with my numbers? Change them!
