This lesson is inspired by the 'Professor Layton and the Curious Village' game.
Make groups, first group to answer a question gets a point.
Most points at the end is the winner.

This week I only had to teach one of my seven 3rd year high school classes, so I didn't want to make some extensive lesson plan for my one class.  Typically my students are unmotivated, and about 1/3 of them spend class time sleeping.
I downloaded your PowerPoint and figured it would last the whole class, fearing that it would be too high level, or that the students would just ignore it entirely. It was only going to be for one class, so I figured it would be a good time to experiment.

The students banged it out in about half an hour, and they enjoyed it.

Consequently I had another 15-20 minutes to fill, but by this time the students were engaged. Thank you for a brilliant idea, and bless your immortal soul.  :D

Does anyone know how to convert a pptx file to ppt, or does anyone have a conversion of this already? This looks fantastic, and I think my after school class would love this.

Thanks Megs626!

Try this one, I saved it on '97-2003.  I changed many of the slides, but the main stuff is the same.

The worksheet had a mistake on it, i saw it while doing the lesson with my class, hopefully ok now
