My few classes I've tried this with have enjoyed it, even if they don't want to get real tattoos.

I went through the PowerPoint slides and questions, then passed out the worksheet for them to do individually when I brought up the final slide containing information about the task. While they worked I helped students with their written answer beneath the tattoo design and then had them present their answers and show their designs one at a time.

Hope it works out for others.

I did a class on taboos before hand and used tattoos as a review. I also introduced symbols and symbolism.

This was a great class, presented the PPT had them talk about tattoos. They then completed a worksheet and designed their own tattoos. Very fun.
