I was wondering whether anyone knows of any good sites or software to use for computer-based learning.

I work at an English Center and as it goes they had a budget for a classroom of notebooks. Us four native teachers said they are not needed, but they are going ahead and buying them anyway.

The only way I can see these being used is if we have some cool software the kids can use collaboratively (like playing computer games against eachother - connected via a network). Or sites with tasks that adhere to a system of progression of some kind.

Any other bright ideas of how we could use laptops in the classroom???
