The Parlotones: Remember when...

This is a South African group. Their music videos are on You Tube.  I teach boys so I thought they could relate to this song. It went down well.  They had to listen to the song and put the cards in the correct order. After that, took the cards away, and completed the blanks in the lyrics worksheet.  All the words but two are the same as the cards. I gave extra points if they could hear "book" and "older" when doing the worksheet.

Looks like a great lesson but I can't open your ppt. My computer is pptx compatible so I think there's something wrong with the file.

^^ It opens and looks like an interesting class. Seems like the kind of song my kids would really enjoy.

However, what is slide 15 please? Could you explain what the red and green are for?

I divided the sentences in the lyrics, so they had to find the other half of their sentence, the first part was on red cards and the second on green. That meant they had to get up, walk around the classroom, and find their other half.
RED:Remember when we were young,
GREEN:playing cops and robbers in our underpants

Sorry, I forgot to post that activity, and I don't have it any more but it's really simple to make yourself. I'm happy you found it, even my parents' class loved this lesson.
