Pedestrian Signals around the World

Spiegel has posted online a collection of pedestrian signals, both modern and historic, from various parts of the world (though most of the examples are European).  I could think of many lessons for which this would be a great way to begin to build motivation.

Also, the Telegraph has put together a photo album of the editor's favorite submissions in their Sign Language column (strange or confusing signage).  Most of it seems appropriate for older learners.
