Cultural Taboos
« on: February 10, 2012, 11:32:11 AM »
Hi

I made a lesson on cultural taboos which I though I'd share,

I explained culture and taboos then I provided examples of different taboos from around the world
I then had students think of taboos that existed in Korea (educational for me, for example did you know that shaking your leg in public is bad to do?)

I finished the lesson up with the game...you guessed it...taboo!

Kids liked it, pretty light lesson but I still felt like I taught something.
Cheers!

Oh and I'll include the taboo game I used, I didn't make it so many thanks to the person that did!

Hi,

It's an Open Office file
you can d/l open office at www.openoffice.org

It's just a free word processor, many files on this site are saved in this format, so it will probably be worth it to d/l :)
