Hey everyone, I hope that your school year is going well so far. I am wondering if I could tap all of your brains for some new ideas for lessons and activities for the next terms. Here is some information about my students and what I have been teaching so far:
I work at a vocation high school and I am teaching 3rd year students. The schoolÂ’s focus is on business and many students are going to be working in an office setting or in the service industry. They are studying everything from accounting and marketing to cutting hair. So far this year, we have studied English for hospitality since many students are interested in working in a hotel or at least traveling abroad.
For the next term, I want to focus on some additional skills that students can use in the office or in the service industry. The students will be working in a variety of industries ranging from hair shops to accounting firms either after high school or university.
If you have some good ideas for lessons or activities, I would greatly appreciate your help and ideas so I can prepare my students as well as I can. My classes are well behaved and so far have been interested so group work is possible.
