I adapted this lesson from an English teaching website. I have yet to try it out!
My high schoolers are quite high level so you may need to simplify some of the characters for yours.

The lesson was originally designed to be done as a whole class group of 16, but I have adapted it so that there are 3 groups of 7, to fit my class size of 21. This is why there are 16 character cards instead of 7.

I will put my students into 3 groups of 7 and ensure that 'Frances Minster - part time Balloon Pilot' is a character in each group, as the other characters have to persuade him to save them. I will then select 6 other diverse characters for the remaining members of each group - probably the same for each group.
